Ohh Pat!!! ¿Qué usted ha hecho?

It always surprises me how hypocritical can one could become as a person. The controversy stirred up by the 'so called' (tele) evangelist Pat Robertson exemplifies this.
Any sane person who might have watched his show ( accidentally ) "The 700 Club " would have realized that most of the comments expressed in the show are either irrelevant or sound extremely senseless. So it doesn't come as a surprise that a person like Robertson, who recently prayed on his show for a vacancy on the supreme court so that a conservative candidate could take his place, openly talks about how the special forces should take out a democratically elected president. But what comes as a surprise is that such a "righteous" person still tried to lie in face of public outcry against his statements. He has taken hypocrisy to new levels!!!

It is also interesting to note that the response from the bush administration was simply a short statement saying that Robertson's remarks were "inappropriate." And Rumsfeld also added this ... "Our department doesn't do that kind of thing. It's against the law," he said. May be if there wasn't any law as such they could have considered it!!!!

Well one can't really blame them for this, afterall Robertson is a former Republican presidential candidate!!!
